FAQs

1. Are these real flowers?

Yes, every piece you see at Florantha is made with real flowers - handpicked from my own garden, carefully pressed, and preserved to capture their natural beauty. Each bloom has its own story, making every creation one of a kind.

2. What type of metal do you use? Is it hypoallergenic?

Yes! All Florantha jewelry is made with hypoallergenic materials - primarily stainless steel and gold-plated brass - both of which are nickel-free and safe for sensitive skin. They’re chosen to complement the natural flowers while ensuring comfort and durability.

3. How should I care for my Florantha jewelry or art?

Keep your piece away from direct sunlight, moisture, and perfume. Avoid wearing it in the shower, while swimming, or during workouts, as water and sweat can damage the flowers. When not in use, store it safely in the linen bag that came with your purchase. A gentle wipe with a soft cloth is all it needs to stay beautiful for years.

4. Will the flowers change color over time?

Over time, real pressed flowers may take on a slightly softer or deeper hue - it’s part of their natural charm. Each piece is sealed to preserve the delicate petals, but keeping it away from sunlight and moisture will help maintain its original look.

5. Is the jewelry fragile?

Each Florantha piece is delicately handmade, so handle it with care, just like you would with fine jewelry. Avoid dropping or bending it, and always store it safely in the linen bag when not in use.

6. Do you take custom orders?

All Florantha pieces are made using flowers from my own garden, so I don’t use outside blooms. However, I’m happy to create custom designs using the flowers I grow and press - just message me on Instagram (@handmade_by_chaithali) or use the contact form to discuss your idea.
